Simple sentences chronicle Swift's life from her early days on the farm to her fearless rise to international stardom. The book touches on struggles she had as a young student and how she was able to shake it off through dedication to her craft. Digitally rendered illustrations are found on every page, but blank space is well placed so as not to overwhelm the senses. The illustrations feature a diverse cast of characters and will help to keep young readers engaged. Swift's current popularity may ensure that the library shelf and this book never get back together, like ever.
